Field Marshal JOURDAN Jean-Baptiste
Born in Limoges on April 29th – Died in Paris on November 23rd 1833
Always at the head of his troops, he never appreciated the coup d’état of 18 Brumaire.
Nicknamed the “winner of Fleurus” in 1794, he won the victories of Hondschoote and Wattignies.
