Field Marshal VICTOR Claude Victor Perrin

Born in Lamarche on December 7, 1764 – Died in Paris on March 1, 1841.

 

A fiery and intrepid soldier, he distinguished himself in the Italian army. He took part in all the campaigns and was wounded several times.

Napoleon said of him: “Victor is better than we suppose : at the passage of the Berezina, he had made the most of his army corps.”
